- Brush your grill topper with a high heat cooking oil before each use.
- Place food on your grill topper THEN place grill topper on grill. This will allow both the food and the grill topper to heat at the same time. Placing chilled food on a HOT grill topper most often causes food to stick.
- Use appropriate, heat-resistant hand protection when handling a hot grill topper.
- Remove from your grill when food is done.
- Use trivets, etc. when placing a HOT grill topper on outdoor/indoor surfaces that are not resistant to heat.
- Allow your grill topper to cool down completely before washing.
DON’T…
- Use your grill topper before reading all instructions.
- Place your grill topper on your grill when preheating.
- Touch your grill topper without proper hand protection when HOT.
- Place a hot grill topper directly on ANY outdoor/indoor surface that is not resistant to heat.
- Wash your grill topper until it is cool to the touch.
