- Wash before use.
- Preheat your grill, not your grill topper.
- Place food on your grill topper THEN place grill topper on grill. This will allow both the food and the grill topper to heat at the same time. Placing chilled food on a HOT grill topper most often causes food to stick.
- Keep topper at least four inches above any grill flames.
- Use appropriate, heat-resistant hand protection when handling a hot grill topper.
- Remove from your grill immediately when food is done.
- Use trivets, etc. when placing a HOT grill topper on outdoor/indoor surfaces that are not resistant to heat.
DON’T…
- Use your grill topper before washing & reading all instructions.
- Use at grill temperatures over 400 degrees Fahrenheit, directly over flames, or open fire. Doing so can melt the expanded aluminum surface.
- Place your grill topper on your grill when preheating.
- Touch your grill topper without proper hand protection when HOT.
- Place a hot grill topper directly on ANY outdoor/indoor surface that is not resistant to heat.
- Wash, recycle or dispose of a HOT grill topper.
