  • 1 bag of Baby Yellow Gold Potatoes
  • 1/4 cup of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1/4 and 1/2 cup of shaved parmesan
  • Butter for greasing

    Instructions for Smashed Potatoes on the grill

    1. Rinse your baby potatoes under cold water, ensuring they’re clean and ready to shine.
    2. Boil the potatoes in a medium pot for about 10 minutes until they’re fork tender. Drain them carefully.
    3. Preheat the grill to medium heat.
    4. In a large bowl, toss the boiled potatoes with olive oil, salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and ¼ cup of parmesan cheese.
    5. When the grill is ready, place the griddle topper on the grill and grease with butter.
    6. Sprinkle a pinch of parmesan cheese on the griddle, then place a potato on it. Use a flat-bottomed glass to gently press down on each potato until it’s flattened (Note: Do not press too hard or the potato will be too thin and not hold together well). Repeat until the griddle topper is full and close the grill.
    7. Allow the smashed potatoes to grill for about 5 minutes on each side until they’re golden brown and crispy. Continue until all potatoes are done and enjoy!
