Meatloaf Ingredients
- 3 lb. ground beef (86% Lean 14% Fat)
- 2 cups of chopped onions
- 1 can Ro*Tel original (drained)
- 2 tsps. salt
- 4 eggs
- 2 cup oats
- 15oz can tomato sauce
- Pepper to taste
- 8 ounce apple juice
- Topping
- 1 cup of ketchup
- 4 tbsps. brown sugar
- 4 tsps. mustard
- 2 Tbsps. Worcestershire sauce

Give a backyard classic a smoky twist! This grilled meatloaf comes off the Oscarware Roast & Rib Rack juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. With sturdy handles and the right fit for a 3 lb loaf, the rack makes it easy to take comfort food to the grill.
Instructions for our ultimate meatloaf on the grill
- Mix all meatloaf ingredients in a large bowl. Cover and refrigerate 3–4 hours or overnight.
- Mix topping ingredients in a separate bowl. Cover and refrigerate.
- Preheat grill to 250–300°F.
- Lightly oil the Oscarware Roast & Rib Rack.
- Pour apple juice and water into a disposable foil pan and place on the grill grate. This adds flavor and keeps the bottom of the meatloaf from overcooking or burning!
- Shape your meatloaf into, well…a loaf and place on the rack over the foil pan.
- Grill for about 2 hours – Since grill temperatures can change, it is always good to check the meatloaf temp starting at around 1 ½ hour mark.
- When the meatloaf reaches 150°F, spread topping evenly over the loaf.
- Continue grilling until meatloaf reaches 160°F.
- Remove from grill, rest briefly, slice, and enjoy!
