Looking for a new take on pork chops? This peach chutney is not too sweet and has just the right amount of spicy to top off your grilled pork chops. Chutneys are a great solution if your meat gets too dry. It can be canned, stored, and used for more than pork. You can also grill your peaches right alongside of your pork chops on your Oscarware ® 16×12 Porcelain Coated Grill Topper. Check out our other grilling recipes.
Cooking Instructions for Peach Chutney
- Add onion, peaches, sugar, ginger, and ancho chili powder to a saucepan and simmer for about 25-30 minutes until the peaches are soft and you can pierce them easily with a fork. Give it a stir about every 5 minutes.
- When done, remove from pan and place in small serving bowl or canning jar for later use.
Grilled Pork Chops
- Prepare grill for indirect heat and preheat grill to 350°F.
- Pat porkchops dry with paper towel then season chops on both sides with seasoning salt and pepper.
- Lightly oil your Oscarware 16 x 12 Porcelain Coated Grill Topper.
- Place chops on grill topper and then place topper on preheated grill over indirect heat and grill for 6-8 minutes per side or until an internal thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the chop reaches 145oF.
- Remove grill topper with chops from grill and place it on a heat resistant surface. Place pork chops on plate and let them rest for 5 minutes. Allow your family or guests to top off their chops with however much chutney they want.
- Remember to allow your grill topper to cool completely before washing. Your topper is dishwasher safe, which makes cleaning up easy. Read more about your grill topper’s use and care instructions on Oscarware’s website.
There you have it, folks, our delicious Grilled Pork Chops with Peach Chutney! We hope you enjoy this fun recipe!
Note: You can also grill the peaches prior to adding them to the chutney. This works best with fresh ripe peaches. Take the pitted, peeled, and halved peaches and brush them with olive oil. Place them around your pork chops on your grill topper. Grill them for about 5 minutes on each side. After they cool, chop the peaches, and add them to simmering chutney when it has 10 minutes left to cook.
