Summer is here, and we’re craving some delicious dessert! Grilled pineapple is one of our favorite summer treats, and there’s nothing better than creating a mouthwatering Grilled Pineapple Sundae! Using the Oscarware® 16″x12″ Porcelain Coated Griddle Topper, you can easily grill your pineapple with no mess. Let’s get grilling!
Instructions for Grilled Pineapple Sundae
- Prepare your pineapple by slicing into 1/2 inch thick rings.
- Preheat the grill to medium heat.
- Lightly grease your Oscarware® 16″x12″ Porcelain Coated Griddle Topper with coconut oil and then place the topper on the grill.
- Place your rings on the griddle topper and allow to grill for 3 minutes on each side, ensuring that the pineapple gets smoky and caramelized. Remove from the grill once both sides are caramelized brown.
- As the grilled pineapple cools, assemble your sundae. In a bowl, add two heaping scoops of vanilla ice cream, drizzle caramel sauce, add chocolate chips, almonds, and grilled pineapple rings, and top with whipped cream.
