Ingredients
- 8 slices of thick-cut white bread (brioche or challah recommended)
- ½ cup canned pumpkin (do not use pie filling)
- 4 whisked eggs
- ¼ tsp nutmeg
- 1tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2/3 cup milk
- Powdered sugar and whipped cream for garnish
- High heat cooking oil (coconut oil or canola oil goes well with this recipe)

Calling all pumpkin spice girlies (and boys of course!) Get into the fall mood with our delicious and easy Grilled Pumpkin Spice French Toast recipe using the Oscarware® 16″ x 12″ Porcelain Coated Griddle Topper.
Cooking Instructions for our Grilled Pumpkin Spice French Toast
- Preheat grill at low to medium-low heat (250-300°F). Note: It’s important not to let the grill get too hot to avoid burnt toast
- Oil your Oscarware® 16” x 12” Porcelain Griddle Topper.
- Whisk together pumpkin, eggs, nutmeg, cinnamon, sugar, vanilla extract, and milk.
- Take a slice of bread and cover both sides of it with the mixture. Hold dunked bread over mixture to allow excess to drip off. Place bread on your Griddle Topper. Repeat this step for three more slices of bread.
- Once your grill is preheated, place your Griddle Topper on the grill.
- Grill bread for 3-4 minutes until it starts to brown and golden, then turn to brown the other side.
- Once bread has finished toasting, remove Griddle Topper from grill and place it on a heat-resistant surface. Remove bread from griddle and add to plate.
- Oil your Griddle Topper again and repeat steps 4 through 7.
- Allow Griddle Topper to cool completely before washing. Your Griddle Topper is dishwasher safe. Read our use and care instructions available on our website.
- Garnish with powdered sugar and whip cream and serve with syrup.
